Our task was to transform an empty Irish pub into a trendy venue with the best collection of gin-based cocktails. At the same time, the client wanted the space to incorporate elements of furniture and décor in the chinoiserie style. We completely rethought the seating arrangement, the color scheme, and added a large number of antique furniture pieces that matched the period. In the empty space under the staircase, we installed a DJ booth in the color of aged gold, while the wall next to the bar was decorated with a bottle installation with backlighting. The main art piece became a panel depicting a classic scene from Chinese engravings.
